Terms of Service

Last updated 26 August 2026

These terms cover booking and paying for a sports facility through the Service. Two of them are unusual and worth reading before you book: a paid booking cannot be cancelled, and it cannot be moved.

Who these terms are between

The Service is operated by {{OWNER: registered legal name of the operating company}}, registered in {{OWNER: country / province of registration}} under registration number {{OWNER: company registration number / NTN}} (“we”, “us”, “our”). It is published to the app stores and this website under the name Courtivo, referred to below as “the Service”. “You” means the person using it.

By creating an account or booking a court, you agree to these terms. If you do not agree to them, do not use the Service.

The Service is a booking platform. It connects you to sports venues run by independent businesses. We are not the operator of any venue, and we do not own, staff or maintain any court, pitch or gym listed on it.

Who can use the Service

You must be at least {{OWNER: minimum age to hold an account}} years old to hold an account and make a booking.

A person under that age may play on a booking, but the booking must be made and paid for by an adult who takes responsibility for it, and {{OWNER: whether a venue may require a parent or guardian to be present, and for which sports}}.

Your account

You sign in with your mobile number. We send a one-time code by SMS and you enter it — there is no password on a customer account. That makes your phone number, and access to it, the key to your account.

  • Keep control of the number registered to your account.
  • If you change or give up that number, update it in the app before you lose access, or you may not be able to sign in.
  • Tell us promptly if you think somebody else has used your account. Contact details are on our contact page.

One person, one account. Do not create an account on somebody else’s behalf without their knowledge.

Booking a court

You choose a venue, a sport, a court and a time, and pay for it. When payment succeeds, the booking is confirmed and the slot is held for you.

One purchase can cover several slots

A single purchase may include more than one time slot, and those slots may be on different courts and for different sports. Each slot appears separately in your bookings, and each is treated as its own booking under these terms.

Holds that are never paid for

Selecting a slot places a short hold on it while you pay. If payment is not completed, the hold lapses and the slot returns to the calendar. A lapsed hold is not a booking and is not a cancellation — nothing was paid and nothing is owed.

A paid booking is final

You cannot cancel a booking, and you cannot move it.

Once a booking is paid for, it is fixed. There is no way to cancel it and no way to change its time, court or sport — not in the app, not by asking the venue, and not by asking us. If you cannot make it, the slot is not refunded and it is not rescheduled.

We state this plainly and near the top of the document because it is the term most likely to matter to you, and it is harsher than customers usually expect. Please decide before you pay, not after.

This applies to every booking in a multi-slot purchase individually. It does not affect the situations in our Refund & Cancellation Policy where the venue cancels, the facility cannot be used, or a payment goes wrong — those are not you changing your mind, and they are handled differently.

Prices and payment

  • All prices are in Pakistani Rupees (PKR).
  • All times shown are Pakistan Standard Time (Asia/Karachi, UTC+5). Pakistan does not observe daylight saving, so a slot time never shifts.
  • Bookings made through the Service are paid online only. There is no option to reserve now and pay cash at the venue.
  • The price shown before you pay is the price charged. It may include a service fee, which is itemised at checkout.

Payments are processed by {{OWNER: payment gateway / processor name and its legal entity}}. We do not receive or store your full card or bank credentials — see the Privacy Policy.

If you pay a venue directly at their desk — for example walking in without a booking — that is a transaction between you and the venue. It is not a booking made through the Service and these terms do not govern it.

Checking in at the venue

Each booking carries a QR code. Show it at the venue and their staff scan it to check you in. Arrive in time to be scanned before your slot starts; the slot ends at its scheduled time whether or not you checked in on time.

Do not share your QR code with anyone you do not intend to give the booking to. Anyone holding it can check in against your slot.

The venue runs the facility, not us

Each venue is an independent business. The venue — not us — is responsible for the condition of its facilities, its equipment, its staff, its safety arrangements, its opening hours and its own rules of entry and conduct.

Listings, photographs, prices and availability come from the venue. We take reasonable care in presenting them accurately, but we do not independently verify every detail of every listing and we do not promise that a facility will meet your expectations.

You must follow the venue’s rules while you are there. A venue may refuse entry or require you to leave under its own policies.

Sport carries risk

Playing sport can cause injury. That risk is inherent to the activity, and it exists whether or not the facility is in good order.

By booking through the Service you accept that you take part in physical activity at your own risk, that you are responsible for judging whether you are fit to play, and that any claim arising from the condition or operation of a facility lies against the venue that operates it.

Nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud, to the extent that limiting it is not permitted by law.

Damage, and people you bring

Damage you cause

If you damage a venue’s property — the court surface, nets, equipment, fittings or anything else — you are responsible for putting it right. The venue may charge you the cost of repair or replacement and may ask you for it directly.

That is a matter between you and the venue. We do not assess damage claims, we do not collect payment for them, and we are not liable for damage you cause. {{OWNER: whether venues may require a damage deposit or hold a card, and any cap on what they can charge}}

People on your booking

A booking stays yours even when other people play on it. You are responsible for everyone you bring — teammates, guests, children and spectators — including how they behave, any damage they cause, and making sure they follow the venue’s rules.

Where a child is playing on your booking, an adult on that booking is responsible for supervising them.

Injury to other people

If you, or somebody on your booking, injures another person at a venue, that is your responsibility. It is not ours, and it does not become ours because the booking was made through the Service.

Being asked to leave

A venue may refuse you entry, or ask you to leave, under its own rules — for unsafe play, abusive behaviour, damage, or turning up in no condition to play. If that happens your slot is not refunded and the booking counts as used.

Your belongings

Anything you take to a venue is your own responsibility. Bags, phones, kit, jewellery, a vehicle in the car park — you bring them at your own risk.

We are not responsible for anything of yours that is lost, stolen or damaged at a venue, and we do not hold or return lost property. Whether the venue is responsible for it depends on that venue’s own policy and on the law that applies to them.

If you leave something behind, contact the venue directly — they hold lost property, not us. We can pass a message on if you cannot reach them, but we cannot recover an item or compensate you for one.

Where a venue provides lockers or storage, they are the venue’s and are offered on the venue’s terms. Using one does not make the venue, or us, responsible for what you put in it unless the venue says otherwise.

What you may bring

Each venue sets its own rules about what is allowed on site, and those rules apply to you the moment you arrive. Check the venue’s listing before you travel — particularly if you are bringing anything beyond your kit.

Things venues commonly do not allow

  • Alcohol and drugs. Many venues prohibit alcohol entirely, and you may be refused entry or removed if you arrive under the influence. Illegal drugs are never permitted anywhere on the Service, and we will report what the law requires us to report.
  • Smoking and vaping, on or around the playing area.
  • Outside food and drink. Some venues run their own café and do not allow it; others do not mind. Water is usually fine.
  • Pets. Assume not unless the listing says otherwise. Assistance animals are a separate matter — tell the venue in advance and they will tell you what they can accommodate.
  • Weapons, fireworks and anything hazardous. Never permitted.
  • Your own equipment, where it could damage the surface — studded or outdoor footwear on an indoor court is the usual one. Wear what the surface is built for.

This is a guide to what venues typically restrict, not a list that binds every venue. The venue’s own rules are the ones that apply, and they can be stricter than this.

If you bring something a venue does not allow, they may ask you to remove it or to leave. As set out above, a slot lost that way is not refunded.

Photography and filming

Sports venues are shared spaces, and other people — including children who are not yours — are usually in shot. Please treat that seriously.

  • Check the venue’s rules first. Some venues restrict filming altogether, and many restrict it around changing rooms and children’s sessions. Changing rooms, showers and toilets are never acceptable places to use a camera, whatever the venue’s policy says.
  • Do not photograph or film other people without their agreement, and never a child who is not in your care.
  • Commercial filming, drones and fixed cameras need the venue’s permission in advance.

Photos you attach to a review

A photo you upload with a review is published, so anybody can see it. Only upload photos you took, and do not upload one showing another person — particularly a child — unless they have agreed to it. Photographs of the courts and the facilities are what other customers find useful anyway.

If a photo of you or your child has been published and should not have been, tell us and we will take it down. The route is in our Community Guidelines, and you do not need an account to ask.

Reviews, chat and conduct

The Service lets you message a venue and leave a review. What you may and may not post is set out in our Community Guidelines, which form part of these terms.

Messages you send to a venue are read by that venue’s staff — a venue conversation is not private between two individuals. Reviews you publish are visible to everybody.

You keep ownership of what you write. By posting it you give us permission to display, store and distribute it within the Service for as long as your content remains published.

Suspension and closing your account

We may suspend or close an account that breaches these terms or the Community Guidelines, that is used fraudulently, or where we are required to by law.

You can ask for your own account to be closed at any time — how that works, and exactly what is erased and what is kept, is on the delete account page. Closing your account does not refund bookings you have already paid for.

Our liability

We provide the booking platform. We do not promise it will be uninterrupted or free of faults, and we are not liable for the acts or omissions of a venue.

Where we are liable to you, our total liability in connection with a booking is limited to {{OWNER: liability cap — e.g. the amount paid for the booking in question}}.

Subject to the paragraph above, and to anything the law does not allow us to exclude, we are not liable for indirect or consequential loss.

We are not a party to a dispute between you and a venue — over damage, lost property, or anything else that happened while you were there. We can pass information between you where that helps, and we may act on what we learn under the section above on suspension, but settling it is between the two of you.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The date at the top of this page shows when it last changed. The terms that apply to a booking are the ones published when you made it.

Where a change materially affects you, we will give notice through the app or by SMS before it takes effect.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of {{OWNER: governing jurisdiction}}, and the courts of {{OWNER: courts with exclusive jurisdiction}} have jurisdiction over any dispute arising from them.
